- I am really fascinated to learn about the myths of the various ancient civilizations. That is why, I am really glad that I was able to find this book. I have actually read this author’s other works, and I can absolutely say that he has done a great job with his research. This is an enjoyable read which has thoroughly entertained me. And so, I am now even more interested in acquiring more knowledge about mythology.
- I had no idea how interesting and exciting mythology could be until I wrote this extensive book. While in school the lessons on mythology were boring and dry. In contrast this book has gotten me hook on mythology. I was impressed by how nicely this book was written, and the formatting was excellent. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is remotely curious about Norse Tradition or history. I will definitely be looking at this author's other pieces of work.

- Martin R. Phillips, who showed himself to be an excellent guide in his book on Norse Mythology, offers a survey of the Mythology of Greece, Egypt and the Norse. Unlike the Norse Mythology volume, which I very much enjoyed, this book offers a survey of the Mythology and offers notes on the historical and political influences of these mythological traditions and subsequent traditions; such as the transition from the Greek pantheon to the Roman Pantheon. As with his other book it is well written, well documented and is equally entertaining and informative for the casual reader and the serious student.
